Happy Deepavali!

Here’s a shoutout to everyone in Malaysia and all over the world in every corner of the planet — Happy Deepavali, everyone! Hope you have a great public holiday and a wonderful celebration to boot!

Credits go to my colleagues from my company, The Edge Media Group, for the colourful kolam (above).

      1. Ah, I see. My apologies on that. Yes, you should πŸ™‚ Have you participated in the Thaipusam festivities? That is a pretty good celebration to be a part of, as I noticed many foreign tourists love to take part in it. I’m not a Hindu myself, so I can’t say whether there is a difference between the Malaysian version or the one in India. The tradition and customs may be the same, but the practice might vary a little in each country.

      2. No need to apologize at all! I haven’t gotten to participate in anything of the sort. I would love to experience it, though. It’s on my list of things to do in this life. πŸ™‚

      1. Besides being the expat wife? Hahaha!! I’m a freelancer and a writer so recently there are influx of requests for me to ghostwrite articles and translation work.

      2. Hahahaha! Expat wife. Where does your husband come from? Oh, wow, freelancer! Are you able to make much though? And to answer your question, no the building you see in the photos is not where I live.
